Just My Random Thought About Random Things

Hello everyone! It's been a while since I made a post. This time, here's an essay about something that I think a bit not actual, but still important. Don't be shy to share your thoughts!

Unmaximized Indonesia’s
Economic potential

Oil and gas industy is one of several economy backbone for the developing countries such as Indonesia. Oil and gas, with its high export commodity, make the industry can bring Indonesia a lot of devisa and raise Indonesia’s economic power in the international economy. Because oil and gas industry make a lot of devisa, it means that the industry make a lot of income to the country, and also make the national economy better and wealthier, because the government will have much more financial resource to  welfare Indonesian people.

But the fact that we have to accept now is Indonesia, the former member of OPEC (Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries) is one of the oil importing countries and currently in oil crisis. Though Indonesia known to still have so many unexplored oil source which spread all over the country just like the experts said about their research results. Furthermore, for the most part of Indonesian people found a trouble to find LPG for their daily needs. With its big potential in oil and gas resource, how could Indonesia being in oil and gas crisis? And how could oil and gas price become too expensive for its own people?

This is not Indonesia’s oil and gas industry’s true potential in contributing to the national economy and also in oil and gas production, Especially in oil production, it’s yet well developed. I believe with the right ways, right management, and brave steps, Indonesia can step out from its oil and gas crisis. And through more well managed oil and gas production, the industry can make Indonesia’s national economy much better and wealthier for its people or even make Indonesia stands among the developed countries. I view Indonesia’s oil and gas industry as a sleeping giant that can bring a welfare to our country and the people, And what we have to do is to find the way to awake it.
